Local governments are taking the lead in tackling energy and greenhouse gas challenges directly, with or without federal support. This presentation highlights Arlington’s transformative Community Energy Plan, which builds on the county’s smart growth legacy to increase its economic competitiveness, energy supply security, and environmental sustainability.
