Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant Program
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is making $110 million available for its Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant Program in 2012. Choice Neighborhoods Grants help to transform neighborhoods by revitalizing severely distressed public and/or assisted housing and linking housing improvements with appropriate services, schools, public assets, transportation, and access to jobs. HUD plans to award 4-5 grants with a $30 million maximum award.
The deadline for applications is April 10, 2012.
