The Form-Based Codes Institute has announced its seventh annual award competition for achievement in the writing and implementation of Form-Based Codes. Form-Based Codes regulate development to achieve a specific urban form. They create a predictable public realm primarily by controlling physical form and secondarily by land use. Entries must have been adopted into law by a unit of local government. Award winners will be recognized on May 29, 2013, at the Congress for the New Urbanism’s twenty-first annual meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.
