EPA Awards $4 Million to Help Support Cleanup and Reuse of Brownfields Sites
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded approximately $4 million in grants to 20 communities to assist with planning for cleanup and reuse of brownfields properties. The EPA awards of up to $200,000 per community will allow the recipients to conduct brownfields planning activities in neighborhoods, downtown districts, city blocks, former industrial areas or local commercial corridors.
