APA Study Finds Broad Support for Community Planning
Americans believe community planners should play a major role in the nation, according to a national poll recently conducted by the American Planning Association (APA). Two-thirds of Americans believe their community needs more planning to promote economic recovery. Half of all Americans would like to be involved in community planning in the future. The word ‘planning’ has a positive meaning to 72% of Americans and 92% believe that “things work better with a plan.”
