A new trip-planning website developed for the D.C. area is the first in the nation to use technology to help bike-share riders plan their routes. The free web app shows riders the fastest, flattest and safest routes — based on the terrain — for getting from point A to point B. The free app also tells users of the D.C.’s bike-share program how many bicycles are available for use at different share locations.
