El Paso Votes for "Quality of Life" Bonds
El Paso voters overwhelmingly supported $473 million in “quality of life” bonds in the November elections. One of the bond measures, worth about $240 million, will fund recreational parks throughout the city. Other activities funded include $10 million in streetscape improvements and $5 million to revitalize the city’s central public space, San Jacinto Plaza.
