The US Environmental Protection Agency is soliciting comments on a draft publication titled Creating Equitable, Healthy, and Sustainable Communities: Strategies for Advancing Smart Growth, Environmental Justice, and Equitable Development. The publication identifies strategies that bring together smart growth and environmental justice principles, which can then be used by stakeholders to shape land use decisions.
EPA is accepting comments on the draft through July 6, 2012.
