Fresno Considers Ordinance for Infill

The Fresno City Council will consider an Infill Development Act in early November that may help with the area’s blueprint for growth. Under the new act, nearly half of the 76,000 residential units that Fresno is expected to need by 2035 would be infill development. The new act would create and identify financial incentives for infill development, including property tax exemptions, federal loans and special financing districts.
