Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. of the U.S. Virgin Islands has signed an executive order advancing a plan to revitalize downtown Charlotte Amalie and ensure the historic town’s economic vitality. The plan for Charlotte Amalie will ensure the vibrancy of the historic village by preserving traditional building methods, connecting pedestrian and transit networks, and revitalizing the waterfront.
