The East River Blueway Plan, recently developed by Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and New York State Assembly Member Brian Kavanagh, looks to redevelop Manhattan’s East River waterfront. The plan recommends adding connections to the waterfront, creating better environments for pedestrians and bicyclists, reducing stormwater runoff, and building more green infrastructure.
