Microhousing Catches On In High-Priced Urban Centers

Microhousing (ultra-compact apartments that sometimes share common spaces) offers a new way for residents to reconcile rising urban housing prices with a preference for city living. Seattle, San Francisco, New York, and Vancouver have all updated their building codes to allow developers to build smaller individual units of 150 to 300 square feet.
