Monumental Regional Plan for Southern California Receives Final Approval
The Southern California Association of Governments’ general assembly has unanimously adopted the organization’s 2012-2035 Regional Transportation Plan and Sustainable Communities Strategy. Pam O’Connor with the SCAG hailed the new plan as “a roadmap to welcome four million new residents and 1.7 million new jobs into our region by 2035.” The $525 billion transportation and land-use plan will direct Southern California’s growth planning over the next 20 years.
