Phoenix Residents Drive Less than Suburban Neighbors
A new report by the Arizona Department of Transportation found that residents of higher-density Phoenix neighborhoods drive substantially less than similar residents located in lower-density suburban neighborhoods. The study found that urban dwellers drive about a third fewer daily miles than their suburban counterparts.
