Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) are the subject of an article in the November 2012 issue of Planning Advisor, published by the Municipal Research and Services Center of Washington. A PUD allows greater flexibility in the configuration and uses of buildings than is allowed in standard zoning ordinances.
