Twin Cities Planning Organization Awards $15 Million for Economic Development along Transit Corridors
The Metropolitan Council, the regional planning organization in the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area, recently approved more than $15 million in grants to help promote economic development and jobs along existing and planned transit corridors. The funds are the first to be awarded from a new category of grants within the Livable Communities program, designed to advance Transit-Oriented Development (TOD).
