Walkable Communities in Demand in Louisiana
A recent article in the Lafayette, Louisiana Advertiser highlighted the growing demand for walkable communities in the state. Camille Manning-Broome, Director of Planning for the Center for Planning Excellence in Baton Rouge, said the trend toward more pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods in Louisiana has been growing for the past 15 to 20 years.
