Fort Worth Fast Tracks Bike Sharing

Fort Worth recently shifted its bike-share program into a higher gear when the City Council unanimously agreed to waive development fees for installing bike-share stations. According to a recent article in Sustainable City Network, bike-sharing stations are planned in downtown, the Cultural District, the Near Southside and at TCU. The city agreed to waive $12,100 worth of fees. In addition, the city expects to enter into an agreement governing the installation and maintenance of these stations with the nonprofit Fort Worth Bike Sharing.
