Smart Growth Recommended to Reduce Ozone in Sacramento Region

The American Lung Association (ALA) has issued a recommendation that smart growth approaches be used to help prevent ozone from increasing in the Sacramento region. According to the ALA, new development should focus on infill projects, downtown revitalization, building near transit, and adding to existing walking, biking, and transit options.
