Climate Change and Older Americans: State of the Science

Older adults will account for 20% of the US population by 2040. And older Americans are expected to be located in places that may be relatively more affected by climate change, including coastal zones and large metropolitan areas. This new report by EPA and ICF analyzes the impact of climate change on older Americans, and how adaptive responses to climate change will impact the resilience of senior citizens.
