This new report from the Center for Neighborhood Technology finds that for the average family in the 25 largest U.S. metro areas, any income gains made in the last decade have been erased by the skyrocketing cost burden of housing and transportation combined. The report includes case studies of how families are trying to cope with these increased costs.
