A neighborhood’s quality of life is correlated with improved physical and mental health, states this new report from the Local Initiatives Support Corporation. The study found that residents in revitalized low-income neighborhoods of Kansas City had more than a fourfold increase in the number of physically active individuals using streets and parks.
