Detroit Future City: Strategic Framework Plan
Detroit Future City, a strategic plan to guide the metropolis for the next 50 years, envisions a reinvented, green, and economically vibrant Detroit. The document proposes environmentally sustainable uses for large expanses of the city’s thousands of vacant lots. The strategic plan contains six elements: economic growth, land use, city systems and environment, neighborhoods, land and building assets, and civic engagement.
