The Public Official's Guide to Affordable Housing

The Public Official's Guide to Affordable Housing is a CD-ROM from the Michigan Municipal League designed to train local public officials in the issues, programs, and opportunities available in the field of affordable housing. It provides creative and effective solutions to the many problems and issues encountered by local units of government.

The resource uses six case-study cities as models of how municipalities are moving in creative ways to solve a variety of problems related to affordable housing, such as land use, development pressures, mixed-income and mixed-use housing. It also deals with regional planning concerns and the need to involve local citizens in all phases of planning and development of affordable housing.

Read more or register for other multimedia offerings on affordable housing and community development from the KnowledgePlex web site at the resource link below.
